The Global Air Traffic Controllers Alliance extends its deepest condolences to NATCA and the entire U.S. aviation community following the tragic mid-air collision near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on January 29, 2025.

The global air traffic control community stands in solidarity with you. We grieve with you, and we offer our full support as you navigate this profoundly difficult time.

Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all those affected by this tragedy. The men and women who work in air traffic control around the world understand better than most the gravity of what occurred and the weight carried by those directly involved.

We stand together as one global aviation safety community.
